WEEK 4 (01/07/24 - 06/07/24)

                A new month , a new beginning - as part of Semester 4 Project 'An Action Research in improving the English Language usage among secondary students', I began the implementation of my 15 day long action plan in my class. This week I had observation by my optional teacher. I implemented my action plan after my daily class. The week went as usual.

01/07/24- On Monday I had class observation by my optional teacher Meekha ma'am. I began a new poem 'Tajmahal' by Rabindranath Tagore that day. The class was good, I was able to manage the class well. The chapter was introduced to the students by narrating a story. Teacher went back after completing the observation of my fellow teachers.

02/07/24 - The poem was continued that day. The poem was explained along with the poetic devices used in it.'Tajmahal' was concluded that day. I got a substitution hour in my class and I implemented my first day's action plan there. The first day's plan was a basic self introduction session. The common mistakes that students make during introduction were corrected. Also they were given an awareness about the importance of English language in our world.

03/07/24- The notes and activities of the chapter 'Tajmahal' was done in class along with the implementation of the action plan.

04/07/24 - A new chapter 'The boy who drew cats' was begun in class. The chapter was introduced using a creative entry activity. A profile of the author was provided. Student's notebook was collected for correction. The notebooks were corrected and given back.

05/07/24 - 06/07/24 - On both these days both the daily classes and action plan was taken progressively. The students were taken to library and computer lab.
