THE FINAL WEEK ( 22/07/24 - 31/07/24)

                         This was a tightly packed week with many activities, school programmes, exams, classes etc. Being the last week at St Mary's HSS we had many things to do within that week. My week began by the general observation by Ancy ma'am.

22/07/24- On 22nd I had two hours in my class . I concluded the chapter 'The boy who drew cats' in one hour and in the next hour I took question tags using the direct instructional model. Ancy ma'am came for the observation while teaching the grammar topic. The class was good, the content was transacted well using different aids. Students were asked to study for a test paper the next day.

23/07/24 - On 23rd during the substitution hour in my class I conducted the acheivement test for 25 marks. The test consisted of 16 questions from the first three chapters ( The mysterious Picture, Tajmahal and The boy who drew cats). During my period in the class I started the chapter 'We're the world'.

On 24th we went to the college for participating in the sports day.

25/07/24- That day since the computer lab was not functioning I got the computer period for substitution in my class. I had already corrected the achievement test papers. All girl students in the class showcased a commendable performance in the testpaper. Meanwhile a good percent of boys also did well. The paper was distributed during the last 10 minutes of the class and the answers were also discussed. The song 'We're the world ' was also completed.

26/07/24 - 30/07/24 - On the 26th it was the Arts club inauguration at the school. Only the 9th std students were taken for the programme. The students showcased some amazing performances that day. The chapter 'A Shipwrecked sailor was started in my class on that day. A video of titanic submerging was shown as the entry activity. Students watched with curiosity.

In the following days the chapter was continued. A diagnostic test was also conducted in between and my action plan was also concluded.

THE LAST DAY - 31/07/24

    Concluding all activities in the school we bid farewell to St Mary HSS. An official meeting was conducted with both the HM and principal of the school. They both shared their happiness and we our gratitude. We gifted two books to the school library. We bid farewell to our beloved students, gave them sweets and took pictures. It was quite emotional .Marking an end to the 30 days at St Mary's HSS, Pattom we came out with a heart full of great memories, gratitude and satisfaction.
