S.M.A.R.T
Our second capacity building programme was organised on November 9 by Ancy ma'am . The resource person for the day was Mr Manoj G, an excellent teacher at Govt Higher Secondary School, Venjaramood and an alumni of MTTC.
The thing that I liked most was Manoj sir's take on 'SMART'. Sir asked us if we have a smart goal.Majority of us couldn't answer it.. That's when sir explained that a smart goal is when we have clearcut goal and a pre planned path towards it. Also it becomes smart only when we put effort every day to achieve it......
Another great lesson I got from the class was through an activity. Sir asked to take a paper and asked us to note down the no.of zeros each of us can put in 30seconds. So I assumed that I can put a zero in a second and wrote 30. Sir then asked do and see if the figures match.....Surprisingly I end up putting 65 zeros. Thats when sir told us that the count could go up to 135 and gave us some tips to reach that goal. By making use of those tips I was able to put 100 zeros.........The amount of confidence and the lesson I got from this activity believe it or not was tremendous. I realized that my potential was far beyond my perception of it and with a little effort I could make huge difference. I never felt so motivated about my own ability like this ever before..it was great❤❤
